You said I would never be alone but yet here I am all alone.
It does not seem to matter how much I push forward I will always be alone.
You have left me here all alone with no one to hold to call my own.
You have left me here all alone with no one to listen to.
The cold and silence of this dark place is starting to get to me.
I am starting to become part of the lost.
I know this is not what you wanted from me, but this is what has happened.
I do not which way to go expect for up because these dead ends feel scalable.
With each one I climb though I can see a faint light for a few seconds.
I can never tell if it is you or just another one of my illusions.
Sometimes if I am really quiet I believe I can hear your angelic voice coming down from one of the tunnels above me.
Then again I chalk that up another one of my illusions as well because you are so far gone I can not keep up.
