The words of the Amen,
The faithful and the true;
Start creation again,
Some will never construe.

He knows the works and deeds,
Neither as hot or cold;
For you have grown like weeds,
As corrupted and bold.

Because you are lukewarm,
Neither as cold nor hot;
Your thoughts a firestorm,
Corruption that you sought.

Because of all your doubt,
Neither as cold nor hot;
Then He will spit you out,
Since righteous you are not.

You say God is wealthy,
Prospered needing nothing;
But you are unhealthy,
From the pleasure you cling.

You are naked and blind,
So pathetically poor;
Evil has ruled your mind,
Still being immature.

Christ counsels you to buy,
Gold refined by fire;
But your thirst for to die
To pleasing desire.

You could become so rich,
Clothe yourself of your shame;
Your attitude would switch,
Enabled to proclaim.

Anoint your eyes to see,
The filthiness of sin;
Repent in being free,
As God gives discipline.

Christ at the door and knocks,
Wants you to hear His voice;
Waits as the door unlocks,
Opened He will rejoice.

For he who has an ear,
Is the one who captures;
Let him listen to hear,
Of heavenly raptures
