This is what we proclaim to you,
As it was since the beginning;
What we have heard is very true,
And that we have to stop sinning.

For what we have heard and have seen,
Through our ears and our eyes;
What our hands touched that has been,
The Word of life does not have lies.

Because Word of life was revealed,
And we have seen to testify;
Since the Book of Life is unsealed,
As proof that no one can deny.

For eternal life is given,
To those who name has been inscribed;
In the Book of Life in Heaven,
As the elite, you have been prescribed.

What we have seen and heard are told,
So that we have the fellowship;
To what the future will unfold,
Enduring the strife and hardship.

So, I write these things to complete,
Our joy for the salvation;
And we are able to defeat,
Sinning for a new foundation.

So, the message of the Gospel,
That we have heard and declare to you;
God is light unto the people,
Luminance that is pure and true.

For in Him there is no darkness,
Pure light for having fellowship;
Blended beauty with no starkness,
Divine pleasure having kinship.

If fellowship we claim to say,
But constantly walk in the dark;
Finding ourselves gone astray,
Deception is where we will walk.

We are not practicing the truth,
For we have sinned and a liar;
We are rude as well as uncouth,
And deceptive amplifier.

But if we confess our sin,
We will be walking in the light;
Cleansed of the guilt that is within,
Disciplined to do what is right.
