Be not afraid God will protect,
You are His and calls you by name;
Faithfulness never to reject,
As you continue to proclaim.

While passing through the waters,
He is with you when passing through;
Along with your sons and daughters,
He will remain faithful and true.

The rivers will not overwhelm,
Neither when walking through fire;
When the Lord remains at your helm,
He will fulfill your desire.

Flames from fire will never harm,
So, fear not about being burned;
There is no cause for an alarm,
Your faith and trust in God is earned.

For He is the Lord our God,
The Holy One and deliverer;
Who you praise to honor and laud,
From iniquities, the pardoner.

He has paid the ransom price,
And as He has stood in your place;
For your sins that truly entice,
Welcoming you as to embrace.

You are precious within His sight,
Loving you for giving you life;
Protecting with power and might,
Assisting you through any strife.

He brings descendants from the east,
To have a reunion in the west;
Gathering for a joyous feast,
Sit at His table as His guest.

He will say to hand them over,
And do not hold anyone back;
Smelling the sweet scent of clover,
That all your sons and daughters lack.

Everyone belongs to the Lord,
Created being His pleasure;
Never letting it be ignored,
For you are His earthly treasure.
