Have you ever noticed how the smoke curls
from the chimney to spread throughout the
upper air in all that open space, and how it
gently floats away upon the blue sky sea to
sail uncharted on a course far from the parent
flue?
Thus we, too, rise to unknown skies from where
we were first noted to idly float throughout our
life wherever we are blown;
How like the smoke we too, shall pass and fade
away from sight and none shall know and few
will care just where we drifted to.
