PEACEFUL WALKS

So many times over my entire life I'd take
A peaceful walk along a tree lined lane
With a note pad pen an even my camera
Love to do this so much just once again

When I was in the U K I'd often do this
Years ago I did just this in York of old
Along stone paths where many flowers grew
During autumn time on leafy carpets too

Often not a soul to be seen anywhere around
Oldest benches to rest awhile along the way
Where old England still lived silently giving
It's superb natural beauty back away in a day

Sill lot of poetry one comes to know old songs
Even when the birds in trees how they do sing
Oldest gardens they still grow naturally always
With still a peace of mind love music to bring

It's all still around and there still to be found
Dispite the ample woe of war upon our planet home
Sadly so many do go so far out of their way
Religions and politics not leaving good souls alone
