We live according to the scripture,
That’s given to us when we’re born.
Entire life’s in it is predicted,
Letter by letter, turn by turn.
The birth, the wedding and the passing,
It’s all in there, just can’t read.
All your improvements and progressions
Are in black ink written in it.
All the instructions, written there,
We have to follow page by page.
All those losses and the winnings,
In everything we must engage.
All those lines in dreaded scripture
We can’t at all with you avoid,
Because there wasn’t with it given
At times desired option: ‘void’.
