Through this, we learn about love,
That He laid down His own life;
Because of the plan thereof,
Endured the toils and strife.
We should lay down our lives,
For your sisters and brothers;
Laying down your life revives,
Eternal life for others.
Whoever does the world’s good,
And sees his brother in need;
That compassion has withstood,
Does not have the Lord’s love seed.
How does love abide within,
When adheres not to the Word;
Let us not love in the sin,
But deed and truth that is heard.
