I thank God who gave me the strength,
Appointing me to His service;
Judged to persevere at the length,
Righteously avoiding the stress.

Formerly as a blasphemer,
persecutor and opponent;
I was as an unbeliever,
And was very disobedient.

The grace of the Lord overflowed,
With faith and love that is in Christ;
The abundancy had bestowed,
Earthly charms no longer enticed.

The faithful says full acceptance,
Since Jesus came to save sinners;
Whom of my foremost arrogance,
Not like the just discipliners.

I got mercy for this reason,
That Christ displays perfect patience;
No longer to commit treason,
Confession gave His acceptance.

Eternal life those who believe,
In God be glory and honor;
The salvation those will receive,
Humbled himself as a fawner.
