Please preserve me, O God,
In You I take refuge;
I put my trust and laud,
There’s a wicked deluge.

You’re my Lord and Savior,
I’m not good without You;
Blessings from Your favor;
A delight that is true.

For the saints in the land,
Are the excellent mates;
Abides by Your command,
Having such godly traits.

Sorrow of those who run,
To false gods multiply;
Never know the real One,
For their needs, they rely.

My portion of my cup,
The chosen Lord my lot;
I will hold my head up,
To see who I have sought.

The lines that have returned,
For me in nice places;
You bless for what I earned,
From all Your good graces.
