The ministry by God’s mercy,
That we do not lose faint of heart;
It will help us able to see,
For receiving as we impart.

We renounced hidden venal things,
Disgraceful underhanded ways;
Cunning craftiness Satan brings,
Blasphemous to one that strays.

Even if the Gospel is veiled,
To those who would be perishing;
Blind minds by the world have not failed,
To seek glory is cherishing.

This world will blind unbelievers,
From seeing the glory of Christ;
Through salvation of receivers,
Since the world has really enticed.

It is not ourselves we preach,
But proclaim the Word of the Lord;
As a servant who wants to teach,
How you to be in one accord.

Let the light shine out of darkness,
That is shining within your heart;
Its glory shines through the starkness,
The knowledge of Christ does impart.
