Cry for Help

I wait patiently for the Lord,
He inclined to me and heard my cry;
A faithful servant is not ignored,
So hopeful in hearing His reply.

He brought me up out of the death pit,
Out of the bog of the miry clay;
He put me upon a rock to sit,
Making me secure and not to stray.

He had put a song within my heart,
As a song of praise of our God;
Many fear to see what I impart,
Putting trust as I honor and laud.

Bless the man who makes the Lord his trust,
Avoids to turn away from the proud;
Because the Lord is fair and just,
To those who turn away from the crowd.

The Lord is my God, such wondrous deeds,
His thoughts towards me that none can compare;
Ensuring to satisfy my needs,
And why I proclaim willing to share.

Sacrifice offerings delights not,
Rather the Lord has an open ear;
No sinful or burnt offerings sought,
From someone who honors and revere.

I have come in the scroll of the book,
The volume that is written of me;
I delight in His will as I look,
Giving me insight that I can see.

His Law is engraved within my heart,
As I have preached of the righteousness;
Avoiding carnal things and depart,
Unrestraint lips that God will bless.

His deliverance is not hidden,
While speaking about salvation;
Not concealed that is not forbidden,
Building a spiritual foundation.
