Carbonation

The old metallic cola can with red and blue yin
yang logo standing on my prefab computer table.
Open at head and contents half-full. A few hours
ago it was alive and bubbling. Sharp carbonation
slid down my throat. Knowing I was parched and
free from the daily grind was delighted with a tasty
tongue. Ah it is like an ocean wave running through
me while the cold breeze wafts through the windows.

Afterwards my kernels would be bursting ferociously
as I sat while my cat drops little balls into his sandbox.
The lonely speaker green circle light can't be controlled
unless done by human fingers. The piano playing of
computer keyboards ignores it staid existence.

Outside the birds rest on the crooked branches.
Twittering and chanting knowing it is early spring in the
old Scandinavian yard. It's managed by an army of tree
surgeons and high-rent money grabbers. Bald macho
baseball speak and his red pickup truck. Another voice
is heard and a presence to flick a repair. Neither of them
have been around enough to be praised.

Sometimes I wake up and do nothing like an inert gas
when I should exert myself and go forward to a new
beginning. A sunny and warm day would enable me to
resist it.
