An altered state of mind,
I’m having these days more.
Too bad, I can’t rewind,
To times, I had before.
Those days were a lot longer,
And so much shorter nights.
I really belonged there,
I was in the spotlight.
I wasn’t then retired,
I was so young and strong,
I wasn’t ever tired,
The fun time was so long.
Now, those times are over,
Fun there I had a lot.
Now, I’m pulling over,
My car to parking lot.
