Until The Sun Is Bright

I can see the city lights. I can feel
them as they color the sky. I'll stare
into the night until the day is passed
until the sun is bright.

I can't say the words to begin with.
I can't feel the things that I need. I'm
not going to make up for my mind.
I don't want to be what everybody else
is. That's for sure.

Everybody else is in confusion and
doubt. The mysteries they bring new
tricks to blow their minds.The stings
of pity and despair throw me and I will
remind the truth and I won't stay the
way that I'm turned down.
