I say walk by the Spirit,
And you will not gratify;
From the immoral merit,
That God told you to defy.

Because fleshy desires,
Have been against the Spirit;
From pleasure it acquires,
Bars from what you inherit.

But if led by the Spirit,
You are not under the Law;
Will not receive a debit,
Which is causing you a flaw.

Fleshy works are evident,
Sexual impurity;
Strife as caused by impudent,
Which will make iniquity.

Anger causes enmity,
Much is deriving as lust;
Striving immorality,
Putting into earthly trust.

Priorities on your pleasure,
Envious dealing with greed;
Building your earthly treasure.
False ambitions of your need.

Those of you who do such things,
Inherits not His Kingdom;
Will discover that it brings,
That blocks God and His wisdom.

Fruits of the Spirit is love,
Joy and peace and faithfulness;
Tolerance from up above,
Self-control and gentleness.

For those who belong to Christ,
Has crucified the passions;
No desires as enticed,
Rather heavenly fashions.

If we live by the Spirit,
Let us also keep in step;
Doing a godly merit,
Remain in spiritual prep.

Do not become conceited,
Provoking one another;
Conceit will be repeated,
Ill will towards each other.
