Be subject for the Lord,
To the King as Supreme;
Being in one accord,
Your sins He will redeem.

Governors that were sent,
Punish who do evil;
Praising those who repent,
Avoiding the devil.

This is the will of God,
That with well doing good;
Ignorance that are flawed,
Be silent as you should.

Live as those who are free,
Not using your freedom;
For evil that you see,
Consider your wisdom.

Honor all the people,
Loving the brotherhood;
Remember the Gospel,
Revere God as you should.

To masters be subject,
Gentle to the unjust;
Able to show respect,
In the Lord put your trust.

This is a gracious thing,
Being mindful to God;
Endure what sorrows bring,
Always honor and laud.

For what glory is it,
When you sin and smitten;
God will credit merit,
Doing as is written.

Christ has suffered for you,
Leaving as an example;
So that you might construe,
Meaning of the Gospel.

Jesus bore our sin,
His body on the cross;
His wounds cleansed within,
Increase faith of a loss.
