I am a veteran fighter,
My muscles daily get tighter.
Although, the sport I admire,
The time has come to retire .
It was the sun, or was raining,
Three times a week, I was training.
Even though a little sickness,
I was sticking to my business.
I’ve had my ups and my downs,
Around cities and towns.
The engine of mine’s still clicking,
Yet, clock is much faster ticking.
