Moral Decline

A day for building of your walls,
The boundary far extended;
With railing for preventing falls,
As your kingdom is defended.
In that day walls are to be built,
That day shall decree be removed;
With getting rid of any guilt,
To know what someone has behooved.
In that day they will come to you,
From Assyria and Egypt;
From sea to sea that has been true,
In fortified cities equipped.
But the earth will be desolate,
Because of its inhabitants;
For their has been no consulate,
Having guilt but no penitence.
Because of the fruit of their deeds,
Feeding the people with their rod;
Shepherding the flock for their needs,
Ensuring that they honor God.
Who dwells alone in a forest,
Within the midst of a garden;
Always able to do their best,
If the Lord gives them a pardon.
As in the days when you came out,
God has shown them marvelous things;
No longer for shedding the doubt,
That usually the darkness brings.
Nations shall see and be ashamed,
Over their mouths they lay their hands;
Ears shall be deaf that is proclaimed,
Their eyes are blind to His commands.
They shall lick the dust of the snakes,
Like the crawling things of the earth;
They shall tremble as the land quakes,
For they shall be in fear of birth.
God will tread the sins underfoot.
He will subdue iniquities;
Show faithfulness and kill the root.
Perform godly activities.
