The Poison Apple

I searched for you across the land in places to and fro.
In this barren wilderness
Where things refuse to grow.
Then apon my wondering eye
What should I finally see
Within this barron wilderness
A lone and vibrant tree.
Each brach is heavy layden
Hanging to the ground
With luscious Golden Apples
No better can be found
Oh, Apple of my eye so long have I sought you, to give me back my strength by your beauty and virtue.
I pluck the Golden life giver from the nearest branch, it detaches quite easily into my longing hand.
I pause to admire this lovely forms employ. This new indulgent sweetness that I should now enjoy
As I take a bite my mouth is filled with sweetness the colmination of my joy and fulfillment of my weakness.
Yet, soon the flavor changes, turns to a bitter taste, a wave of sickness takes me, the blood drains from my face.
This tree full of apples lays in wait for human need, each and every apple poisoned from it's seeds.
I greatly implore for my suffering to end, the shadow of the great beyond now my greatest friend.
My pray remains unanswered I am filled with bitter remorse. Reduced to nothing more than a broken walking corpse.
Doomed to wander aimlessly through a drerey land, the appitamy of my cheifest joy reduced to common sand.
