EVERYBODY WANTS TO BE A DOCTOR

A certain time ago, there lived a young man named Achampo in Victory Lane in Nortanon-in-Agree. His parents were wealthy and wished their son all the best. He had two sisters and led a beautiful life. But Achampo had an ambition to become a doctor at all cost. And to achieve this, he studied science assiduously. He dipped his feet in a bucket of cold water, spending so much time to read at night. He kept trying, not withstanding, though his results were very poor.

THE BOILING HEAD

One day, Achampo started having a complication. His head would be so hot and boil inside. He would call his sisters to come to his aid and pour water on the boiling head to cool it down. Someone suspected he was about to get mad as no one knew what went wrong with him. Most times, three to four buckets of water were poured on his head to cool him down and get rid of the high temperature.

One day, a good friend came by and sat him down and being frank with him, told him: "Achampo, keep desiring to be a doctor if you want to die. For me, I know you have no concerns with Medicine." His name was Mr. Health Fare. He then instructed him to abandon ambitional pride to study Medicine, give up on the sciences and go for the arts and study Economics and become an Economist in future. Achampo who did not like the idea wanted to protest, but his sisters advised him to pay attention to Health Fare's advice. After what seemed a difficult decision, he finally agreed. He had all along been waiting at home, studying in anticipation of becoming a good doctor, but only kept failing. He finally, following Mr. Health Fare's advice, took to the arts and found they were lovely and simpler to understand. That year, for the first time, he sat for his Examinations, had an excellent result, applied to study Economics at the Socrate White Head University in Nortanon-in-Agree, and later graduated Magnacumlaude and travelled away to Ajampo Hill and became extremely successful, but forget Mr. Health Fare. All the same, Mr. Health Fare wished him well and always thanked God for his deliverance from a boiling head.
