Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
What Scriptures show,
God empowered.

It has been told,
As from the start;
That will unfold,
God did impart.

The foundation,
Not understood;
For salvation,
That it was good.

For He who sits,
Above the earth;
That He acquits,
Who has rebirth.

For you sojourn,
Like grasshoppers;
You live and learn,
As eavesdroppers.

He stretches out,
To drape Heaven;
Never a doubt,
Beauty given.

Kings are nothing,
For ruling earth;
Conceit they bring,
Which have no worth.

Scarcely planted,
And scarcely sown;
Growing slanted,
Dry like a bone.

On rocky ground,
Wither and die;
No harvest found.
As they lay dry.

Who would compare,
To be like Him;
Someone to care,
No longer grim.
