Now concerning brotherly love,
No need for anyone to write;
You have been taught from God above,
Where the love comes from the pure light.

God taught you to love each other,
For indeed that is what you are;
Caring to a Christian brother,
You have become a shining star.

For what you are doing to all,
That I am urging you to do;
Rescue brothers that start to fall,
Continue always to be true.

Aspire to live quietly,
And for minding your own affairs;
Work your hands with simplicity,
In the instruction that one shares.

So that you may walk properly,
Before all of the outsiders;
Not dependent literally,
On some other providers.

But do not be so uninformed,
About any who are asleep;
Remember they have been transformed,
Christ is the shepherd of the sheep.

Grieve not for others with no hope,
Since we believe why Jesus died;
You need to look at the full scope,
He rose again since crucified.

Those fallen asleep God will bring,
Declared by the Word of the Lord;
Again, believers start to sing,
Because they are in one accord.

Whoever is alive and remain,
Unto the coming of the Lord;
Will not proceed if still with stain,
Having a blot on their record.

For the Lord Himself will descend,
From Heaven with a trumpet sound;
Those asleep be first to ascend,
Joining Christ to be Heaven bound.

Comfort each other with these words,
Able to join Christ in the clouds;
Far above where the flight of birds,
Leaving behind the heathen crowds.
