You be strengthened by the grace,
And all of what you have heard;
That Jesus Christ will embrace,
In understanding His Word.

Many witnesses entrust,
Unto the trustworthy men;
Able to teach others just,
The life of Jesus again.

You must share the suffering,
As a good soldier of Christ;
Who will be your buffering,
From the things that have enticed.

No soldier gets entangled,
In the civilian pursuits;
The desires that dangled,
Could cause rotting of your roots.

An athlete does not win gold,
Unless he follows the rules;
Strives lawfully to unfold,
Enabled to see the jewels.

A farmer that labors hard,
Be partaker of first fruits;
The rotten he will discard,
Burning them down to their roots.

Consider to what I say,
For what our Lord will give;
To understand and obey,
So, you are able to live.

Remember that Jesus Christ,
Had been risen from the dead;
Life on earth was sacrificed,
For giving you life instead.

Wherein I suffer trouble,
As evil bonds me in chains;
Christ pulls me from the rubble,
As He heals me from my pains.

I endure all for His sake,
To obtain my salvation;
And I am able to make,
That He is my firm foundation.

But if we would be faithless,
He will still remain faithful;
Still there guiding the aimless,
And rescuing the doubtful.
