Bless be the one whom God corrects,
So, despise not the discipline;
Because the Almighty reflects,
On the severity of sin.

For the chastening of the Lord,
He will make sore but then binds up;
Enough that it is not ignored,
Same as a horse with a stirrup.

He shatters but His hand does heal,
And deliver you from trouble;
While ensuring that you feel,
When extracting from the rubble.

In seven no evil shall touch,
From the famine He will redeem;
Because He loves and cares so much,
For building up your self-esteem.

In war the power of the sword,
You shall be hidden from the tongue;
Condemnation comes from the Lord,
The lashing is sharp as it is flung.

You shall not fear the destruction,
Destruction and famine, you laugh;
Fear not the beasts of abduction,
For they are merely like chaff.

For you shall be in the same league,
As with the stones over the field;
But the growing shall not fatigue,
Which will give an abundant yield.

You shall be content and at peace,
Inspect the fold nothing will you miss;
Tendency to sin will then cease,
The happiness you reminisce.

You shall know also your offspring,
Your seed shall be many and great;
For the blessings that they shall bring,
Never to find any ill-fate.

You shall then come unto your grave,
At a time in a ripe old age;
Like a sheaf gathered God will save,
When determined you at that stage.

It is true what we have searched out,
To hear and know it for your good;
Able to chase away the doubt,
Everything done as it should.
