Although I am eager to write,
Of our common salvation;
It is crucial to shed some light,
On the spiritual foundation.

I found it vital to appeal,
To contend for the faith that was;
Delivered to the saints with zeal,
That had cured them from all the flaws.

For certain people that have crept,
Were unnoticed who long ago;
Were designated that God kept,
For condemnation that they owe.

Because of ungodly people,
Who pervert the grace of the Lord;
Carnal wants inside the temple,
As the Word of God is ignored.

They deny our only Lord,
Who is our Lord Jesus Christ;
Not aware they lose their reward,
Since their desires are enticed.

Therefore, I want to remind you,
How Jesus Christ our Lord saved;
Although at one time that you knew,
When the iniquities enslaved.

God killed those who did not believe,
And the angels who did not stay;
But a good dwelling you receive,
Has kept you in chains that you stray.

You have been in eternal chains,
In gloomy darkness till that day;
Judgment causing you burning pains,
Because of all your uncleansed stains.

Your sexual immorality,
Pursued unnatural desire;
Viewed as an illegality,
Punished by eternal fire.

But you rely upon your dream,
And you reject authority;
While blaspheme to the extreme,
You have superiority.

Raging waves tossed about the sea,
Casting up foam of their own shame;
The darkness that shall ever be,
Causes a fading of your name.
