Blessed is God the Father,
Of our Lord Jesus Christ;
And who is our Brother,
On the cross was sacrificed.

Blest with spiritual blessings,
From in the heavenly realm;
Goodness and mercy, it brings,
Having Jesus at the helm.

Because in Christ He chose us,
Before the world formation;
So that to be holy as thus,
Unblemished with salvation.

Perfect through the sight of love,
Predestined through adoption;
Pleasure from His will above,
Through grace of His selection.

Praise the glory of His grace,
That He has freely bestowed;
Dearly beloved to embrace,
So, we can become hallowed.

In Christ we have redemption,
Through His blood and forgiveness;
Sins caused by the temptation,
Lured by the persuasiveness.

Forgiveness of trespasses,
By the riches of His grace;
Unto all of the masses,
Through iniquities they face.

He lavished us in wisdom,
Bestowed upon us His insight;
For entering His Kingdom,
When we walk in His delight.

He did this when He revealed,
To the secret of His will;
For His Word has been unsealed,
And in order to instill.

Giving of His good pleasure,
Jesus Christ was sent forward;
So, He could share His treasure,
And fulfill His Holy Word.

For the Gospel you have heard,
Which gives you the salvation;
The truth written in the Word,
Is building your foundation.
