We must pay closer attention,
To everything we have heard;
Or slip away from salvation,
If we reject in the written Word.

For since the message is declared,
By angels proved reliable;
Then the message that they have shared,
Considered justifiable.

As for every transgression,
Or disobedience received;
There is a retribution,
Through the evil that you achieved.

How are we able to escape,
Such great salvation we neglect;
By distorting the righteous shape,
And showing God a disrespect.

It was declared first by the Lord,
Attested by those who have heard;
Has basically been ignored,
What has been written in the Word.

While God bore witness by the signs,
Wonders and many miracles;
Gifts by His Spirit He assigns,
Prophesied through His oracles.

For unto the angels that God,
Subjected the world by His will;
We have to then honor and laud,
So, He is able to instill.

Of which we are able to speak,
And surely has been testified;
Unto the cross where we must seek,
Since Jesus Christ was crucified.

What is man you are mindful of,
The Son of man you care for Him;
Visiting here with peace and love,
His compassion never was grim.

Lower than the angels was made,
Then crowned with glory and honor;
Knowing the future not afraid,
Walked amongst us as a fawner.

We see Jesus Christ did suffer,
Suffering on the cross till death;
Became for us our buffer,
Giving us for a new life and breath.
