All of you should be like minded,
Sympathetic to believers;
Compassionate but not blinded,
By the ones who are deceivers.

Pay not back evil for evil,
Never respond with an insult;
That just satisfies the devil,
Into his hands as a result.

Rather giving them a blessing,
That a blessing you inherit;
For the Lord you are professing,
Through spoken words and your merit.

For the ones who want to love life,
And see good days must keep their tongue,
And their lips from causing strife,
When anything that has been flung.

You must turn away from evil,
And only do things that are good;
Avoid aiding what the devil,
Something that could be misunderstood.

You have to be pursuing peace,
For the eyes of the Lord can see;
Letting not your righteousness cease,
Just follow all of His decree.

Remembering them in your prayers,
Who are committed to do harm;
Showing others that someone cares,
Displaying your spiritual charm.

Never fear for what they might fear,
So, righteousness does not suffer;
Jesus will always dry that tear,
Because of being your buffer.

Sanctify the Lord in your heart,
And be ready to give defense;
His Word be able to impart,
Let not yourself become intense.

It is better with doing good,
And by following of His will;
Remember to do as you should,
And as Jesus Christ would instill.
