Let us leave the doctrine of Christ,
And go on to maturity;
For learning to be sacrificed,
From all of your iniquity.

Not laying down a foundation,
Of repentance from the dead deeds;
Rather faith for your salvation,
Towards God for your spiritual needs.

For the instruction of washings,
As well as the laying on of hands;
Know when and where our crossings,
Following what the Lord commands.

The resurrection of the dead,
And of the eternal judgment;
Knowing all that we have been fed,
That God is giving atonement.

For this we do if God permits,
Of those who have been enlightened;
As to knowing one inherits,
Giving the outlook has brightened.

Who has tasted the heavenly gift,
And shared in the Holy Spirit;
Our own spirit then would uplift,
In everything we merit.

To taste the goodness of the Word,
The powers of the coming age;
All of which our ears have heard,
As our life has turned the page.

Because we have fallen away,
To restore through a repentance;
So many times, that we do stray,
And that God gave His acceptance.

For the land that has drunk the rain,
That has been falling upon it;
Produce crops from toil and pain,
As a blessing of your merit.

I desire each one of you,
In showing blessed assurance;
In remaining spiritually true,
And to the Word an adherence.
