Morning Joy

I will exalt You, O Lord,
For You have lifted me up;
As my foes have been ignored,
Drink no poison from their cup.
Lord my God, I cried to You,
For Your help in healing me;
Resurrect me to construe,
My soul from the grave to see.
Sing to the Lord O you saints,
Praising to His holy name;
Sing without any restraints,
Being able to proclaim.
The Lord is slow to anger,
His grace is everlasting;
A comfort that will languor,
Avoiding your down casting.
Weeping may come, spend the night,
But joy comes in the morning;
Through the dawning of the light,
We worship by adorning.
For I will not be shaken,
Since the Lord shows His favor;
And He has not forsaken,
By giving me a waiver.
Like a mountain I will stand,
But when the Lord hid His face;
I was terrified by demand,
Of a probable disgrace.
I sought favor from my Lord,
What gain is there in my death;
Blood loss, I cannot afford,
Be without air for my breath.
Will the dust proclaim His truth?
But God is gracious to me;
Always near throughout my youth,
Gave insight so I could see.
Lamenting turned to dancing,
No longer silent to God;
My joys have been enhancing.
Anthems to honor and laud.
