Four-letter words are coming to my head,
And neither of those is “luck” or “love”.
I don't know, what awaits ahead,
It was prewritten by the Faith above.
About half of life has now passed,
I had it both ways: the good and bad.
I never-ever had in life the best,
According to the script, I never would.
I'm still surrounded by the four-letter words,
None of which are for living any good.
I'm hearing daily chirping of the birds
And thinking, what I could, or would, or should.
