Every priest stands daily,
At his service for others;
Giving his time out freely,
Helping his sisters and brothers.

Offering repeatedly,
Of the same sacrifices;
Doing it religiously,
For the sinful entices.

But it cannot take away,
Iniquities they had done;
For times they have gone astray,
Can only be through the Son.

Christ had offered for all time,
As a single sacrifice;
That is paying for the crime,
In which makes us so entice.

Waiting from that time till foes,
Are a footstool for His feet;
He continually knows,
Beside God He takes a seat.

For one offering is He,
Because He is perfected;
That the builders could not see,
He was being rejected.

As the Holy Spirit bears,
Witness unto us for this;
Shows compassion as He cares,
With giving a sacred kiss.

For this is the covenant,
That He makes after those days;
For His Law be permanent,
Engraved in their heart always.

He will write them in their minds,
Remembering sins, no more;
In one accord that one finds,
As the love ointment will pour.

Hold fast unto confession,
For hope as unwavering;
Sin not be an oppression,
God gives us that favoring.
