Although I was eager to write,
Of our common salvation;
Giving insight to see the light,
And building a firm foundation.

I found such a need to appeal,
For the faith that you once contend;
Now having the spiritual zeal,
To know of your heavenly friend.

For certain people unnoticed,
Who have crept a long time ago;
Such as a liberal leftist,
Had condemnation that we know.

Ungodly people who pervert,
The grace of God as they deny;
Sensuality to convert,
Our Lord Jesus to defy.

I also want to remind you,
That Jesus who saved a people;
Although that you once fully knew,
Nonbelievers He did trample.

And the angels who did not stay,
Which kept not in their first estate;
Left their habitation to stray,
Of the great day will meet their fate.

Eternal chains in gloomy dark,
Until judgment of the great day;
Bonded unable to embark,
From taking the evil pathway.

Just as Sodom and Gomorrah,
And the cities surrounding them;
That had the box of Pandora,
Eternal fire did condemn.

Sexual immorality,
Pursued unnatural desire;
Because of their iniquity,
They were punished by the fire.

People relying on their dream,
Rejecting God’s authority;
Have a tendency to blaspheme,
With their superiority.

The wild waves within the sea,
Casting up the foam of their shame;
Wandering stars that act carefree,
Through the darkness they lose their fame.
