Take the prophets who spoke,
In the name of the Lord;
Causing us to provoke,
The Word is not ignored.

Suffering and patience,
Being an example;
Having the confidence,
To all the people.

For those who have endured,
We need to count and bless;
Resisting what has lured,
Through prayer that they confess.

You heard the and His,
Of what Job had been through;
And his obedience,
To God as means for you.

God is compassionate,
As well as merciful;
When times are desperate,
Blessings are plentiful.

Above all, do not swear,
By Heaven or by earth;
But remember in prayer,
As thankful for your birth.

If one is suffering,
Or being afflicted;
Prayer gives you buffering,
Confess when addicted.

Always remain cheerful,
While singing praises;
With joys that are tearful,
As the Lord embraces.

The prayers of faith will save,
For the Lord to restore;
Whatever does enslave,
Blocking you from the lure.

If you committed sin,
You will be forgiven;
Confession will begin,
Your ticket to Heaven.

You should know whatever,
The prayers of a sinner;
Bonds of sin can sever,
Faith makes you a winner.
