Life was rough, then got tough, never easy,
It has never smiled at me.
Its intention was not to be pleasing,
My intention was just to be free.
I was happy, as each known child,
Getting every desired toy.
Then, my life went from mild to wild,
I was not very pleased as a boy.
Then, I slowly entered adulthood,
Still believing in everything best.
Dreams’ accomplishment rate wasn't too good,
Some of them had to be put to rest.
I'm still making true some desires,
I'm doing whatever I can.
Heart and soul are both on fire,
Although, I have become an old man.
