Fret not because of wicked men,
Not envious of wrongdoers;
Of what you heard time and again,
About the evil pursuer.

They will soon dry up like the grass,
Fade and wither like the green herb;
Because of their sinful trespass,
As being mentally disturb.

Trust in the Lord, always do good,
Dwell in the land with faithfulness;
Keep integrity as you should,
To be assured His blessedness.

Delight yourself within the Lord,
He gives desires of the heart;
When staying in one accord,
He answers prayers that you impart.

Commit your future to the Lord,
Put trust in Him and He will act;
Show how He is loved and adored,
Being able to form a pact.

He will bring forth your righteousness.
Vindicate you in broad daylight;
Ensures you a clear consciousness,
With a wisdom that gives insight.

Always be still before the Lord,
As you wait patiently for Him;
Your life will be feeling secured,
So that you will never feel grim.

Fret not on apparent success,
Of sinners with wicked schemes;
Stay the righteous path to progress,
For darkness is not as it seems.

Refrain from anger, forsake wrath,
Fret not what would lead to trouble;
Because of the traps on their path,
Could be causing you to stumble.

Wicked me will be soon wiped out,
Evildoers shall be severed;
Patiently wait and have no doubt,
Of whatever you endeavored.

Evil men will soon disappear,
As the meek inherit the land;
Abundant peace overflows fear,
So harmonious is at hand.
