I will give thanks unto the Lord,
I will give thanks with my whole heart;
Because He is loved and adored,
As His Word totally impart.

I recount His wonderful deeds,
I will be glad and exult Him;
Because He caters to my needs,
Never making me to feel grim.

I will sing and praise His name,
As my enemies are turned back;
They stumble while I proclaim,
Fall from confidence that they lack.

The Lord has maintained my just cause,
While He has sat on His throne;
Giving righteous judgment for flaws,
Forgiveness before it has grown.

The Lord has rebuked the nations,
He has made the wicked perish;
Anyone having vexations,
The things that the Lord does cherish.

The enemy came to an end,
Their cities have been rooted out;
No longer be able to defend,
Of what they had serious doubt.

The Lord sits enthroned forever,
He set up His throne for justice;
Because His Word will not sever,
That creates a new armistice.

He judges us with righteousness,
For He shall minister judgment;
Judging people with uprightness,
And those without remorse torment.

He’s a stronghold for the oppressed,
A stronghold in times of trouble;
Those who plea that has been expressed,
Rescuing them from the rubble.

For those who are knowing His name,
Will be putting their trust in Him;
Having no fear as to proclaim,
Never making for life to dim.
