Declare Confidence

The mountains saw God and they shook,
As the raging waters swept on;
The deep gave voice while it took,
Lifted its hands at breaking dawn.
The sun and moon stood still in place,
At the light of His arrows sped;
His glittering spear to erase,
The iniquities had been said.
He marched through the earth with fury,
He threshed the nations in anger;
For He is both judge and jury,
Swiftly as to not to linger.
He went out for the salvation,
Salvation of your anointed;
Giving you a new foundation,
A blessing who is appointed.
He crushed the head of the devil,
Laying him bare from thigh to neck;
Blocking all access to evil,
No longer to continue his trek.
He pierced the heads of warriors,
Who had come out like a whirlwind;
But were blocked by the barriers,
Because they were not disciplined.
They rejoiced if to devour,
As He trampled them in the sea;
In surging waters, they cower,
As the wicked began to flee.
I hear as my body trembles,
And my lips quiver at the sound;
Shaking where my bone assembles,
Feeling nervous that I had found.
I quietly wait for the day,
Trouble comes who will invade us;
For they do not trust and obey,
Not following the Word as thus.
Yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
Taking joy in my salvation;
He strengthens me in one accord,
For building a new foundation.
