See what manner of love,
The Father has given,
That has flown from above,
Coming down from Heaven.

Being children of God,
For that is what we are;
And that we should be called,
Each one a shining star.

The reason why this world,
Never has known of Him;
Mockery being hurled,
Since their future looks grim.

Everyone who hopes,
Purified to be pure;
While living one copes,
With a future as sure.

Those who practice sinning,
A committed outlaw;
Without disciplining,
Continuing to flaw.

You know that He appeared,
For to take away sin;
With those who have revered,
Learn how to discipline.

Nobody who abides,
Never keeps on sinning;
As the love of God guides,
That will keep one winning.

Let no one deceive you,
You practice righteousness;
God is faithful and true,
Will continue to bless.

If you practice evil,
You are producing sin;
Your works for the devil,
Corruption will begin.

Nobody born of God,
Makes not practice of sin;
And will not become flawed,
For God abides within.

This remains evident,
Who are children of God;
For they are confident,
No matter where they trod.
