Be attentive to my wisdom,
Incline your ear to understand;
Not to become as deaf and dumb,
About life and what would demand.

That you may keep a discretion,
And your lips will remain on guard;
The ways women use seduction,
Causing your life that could be marred.

For the lips that are forbidden,
From women dripping with honey;
Temptation that has been hidden,
And are just looking for money.

Her speech is smoother than oil,
But latter bitter as wormwood;
A two-edged sword that will toil,
Dominate you all that she could.

Her feet are going down to death,
Her steps take hold drags you to hell;
Nagging you with every breath,
Casts on you an enchanted spell.

She does not ponder of the path,
Wandering ways, she does not know;
By crossing her brings on her wrath,
Her true colors will start to show.

So, do not depart from my thought,
Far from her you must keep away;
Her temptations have to be fought,
So that you are not led astray.

Lest you will give up your honor,
Lust an adulterous addiction;
No longer being a fawner,
Because of lustful temptation.

Stranger take their fill of your wealth,
While you labor in their house;
Diseases damaging your health,
That will be infecting your spouse.

At the end of life, you will groan,
When flesh and body are consumed;
As last breath produces a moan,
And you will then become entombed.

If I did not heed to the voice,
And obeyed what my teachers taught;
I would have then made the wrong choice,
On the pathway I would have sought.
