I need to have walls up so that I don't allow everything in.Jude 1:20 tells me to build myself up, or edify myself.
I need to put some walls up.
I can't prevent all of the negative.
In Proverbs, You tell me to guard my heart.
We all have challenges.
Many times I get too much information.
I need to guard my heart.
There are enough issues to deal with where I don't have a choice.
The more favor You show me, the more opposition that I have to deal with.
It's not about me, Lord, it's about Your favor.
Not everyone can handle my success.
Many young people, including but not limited to myself, are misunderstood and mistrusted by society.
I need to be careful which websites I visit and I need to be careful which books I read in addition to which songs that I listen to.
I need to be careful of what I watch on the television set.
Society is determined to misunderstand young people and this especially includes the news.
Thank You, Lord, for giving me the idea of social justice and You have confirmed this idea through the Bishop at the Potter's House on Sunday February 10, 2019.
I need to think on things that are pure, wholesome and of a good report.
There are a lot of things that I cannot change, such as the mistrust of society.
I need to be still and know that You are God according to Psalm 46:10
You work when I am in peace and I need to constantly guard my heart.
I need to get to the place where nothing offends me.
When we are easily offended, everything is magnified.
If it weren't for Your favor, I would be left alone.
Every day is a gift from You, Lord.
I need to stop allowing myself to be upset and You are confirming this.
You have given me a well of creativity.
Amen, thank You.
