I have received from the Lord,
As I delivered to you;
Let it not to be ignored,
One disciple did pursue.

That night the Lord was betrayed,
He took bread and then broke it;
Gave to each one and conveyed,
As His body to commit.

Then He took the cup of wine,
Gave it for all them to drink;
A new covenant divine,
As His blood to sip and think.

Do these things in remembrance,
As often as you eat the bread;
Drink the cup in His absence,
His testament to be fed.

This you proclaim the Lord’s death,
Till once again will arrive;
Living by giving new breath,
And eternally alive
