Things took place as lessons for us,
That we might not follow evil;
Be not idolaters as thus,
That pursues work of the devil.

People sit down to eat and drink,
Afterwards, they rise up to play;
The adult games they do not think,
That would be causing them to stray.

Indulge not in sexual acts,
Anything that is immoral;
Whatever sultrily attracts,
That is intimate or oral.

Tempt not Christ Jesus to the test,
As some others that have been died;
Avoid what would involve incest,
Think of why Christ was crucified.

Neither murmur nor to grumble,
When you’re being faced with a quest;
Remember to remain humble,
Question not if real or a test.

Write down for our instruction.
For the end of ages is near;
Avoiding any seduction,
That Satan might cause to appear.

Anyone who thinks that they stand,
Will have to take heed lest they fall;
God does not tempt with a command,
Not common for man to appall.

God is faithful who will not tempt,
Beyond as to what you can bear;
He provides ways to be exempt,
If it’s causing you to despair.
