Remember not the former things,
Nor consider the things of old;
Think of doing what newness brings,
That will spring forth that will unfold.

What shall spring forth do not perceive,
As the things that which you shall know;
Through the wilderness that you receive,
Rivers in the desert will make grow.

The wild beast will honor God,
As well as the dragons and owls;
Jackals and ostriches will laud,
Along with all the waterfowls.

He’ll give water in the desert,
For His chosen people to drink;
Out of the ground letting it spirt,
As everyone has time to think.

The people of whom He had formed,
They might declare the Lord in praise;
He called upon and had prewarned,
Not to become weary these days.

Your sheep offering you not brought,
To honor Him with sacrifice;
But wearied of the money sought,
Burdens of pleasures that entice.

You have not brought Him your money,
Or satisfied Him with the fat;
Burdened with sin dunked in honey,
Iniquities where you had sat.

God will blot out your transgressions,
And not remember of your sin;
When you admit with confessions,
Able to righteously begin.
