Congratulations on your 58th birthday

A young man who was studying Physical Education,

Suddenly he was called to perform a new function:

Evangelization.

He was at the seminary at Rua Santo Alberto, 221 - Campo Grande (Vila São Pedro).

And here I have to tell you that at the time, the seminarian Marcelo Rossi, along with others,

They had the freedom to play soccer,

And, on the court of the Santa Gertrudes Parish, which today is the Santuário Mãe dos Aflitos.

And, my husband and other parishioners had fun there in good health.

But, life went by, and I enter this story, with the memory of my former student,

And, my friend Maria Auxiliadora, Auxi,

Who saw beyond that little teacher that was me,

Someone who always sought God,

And, who at that moment was not well.

We talked about many things, and among them about the beauty of priests. (I forgive myself, but I am sincere even in poetry),

And, through this student of mine, I met my husband, Eduardo Riveiro Castro.

But, I have told this story many times,

And, today my congratulations go to the young Father Marcelo de Mendonça Rossi,

Son of Seu Antônio (in memoriam) and Dona Vilma,

Of Italian origin,

Where parents always want the descendants of their children,

But, God wanted, that this descendants, not be of the same DNA,

But, of several DNAs that ended up being adopted by Father Marcelo,

Some younger, others older, that Father Marcelo adopted.

And, on this day, May 20, 2025,

Where he completes another Christmas date,

58 years.

And, on this anniversary, he presents us with his latest book,

And, new praises.

Be persistent:

And, may the Priest be just the instrument,

For the one who frees us is always the Lord Christ Jesus!!!
