As you received Jesus as Lord,
So therefore, in Him also walk;
While being in one accord,
Whenever you pray you can talk.

So be rooted and built up in Christ,
Established in the faith and trust;
Letting not yourself be enticed,
By temptations that are of lust.

See that no one takes you captive,
Someone spoils through deception;
Human traditions that they live,
Not as of Christ in perception.

In Christ dwells the full deity,
Of the Godhead bodily dwells;
That gives you the ability,
Seeing fraudulence that dispels.

You have been filled and made complete,
In Christ rules with authority;
Causing Satan of His defeat,
Christ has superiority.

In Him you were too circumcised,
Circumcision made without hands;
To purge the body when baptized,
And abiding in His commands.

Buried with Him in baptism,
And are raised with Him from the grave;
Through faith God gives an asylum,
No longer lets sin to enslave.
