I am always of good courage,
In knowing that I am at home;
With the Lord I don’t discourage,
Whenever I may have to roam.

For I walk by faith, not by sight.
I am confident when I say;
In the Lord I always delight,
Causing me to trust and obey.

No matter where, I trust the Lord,
My spirit at home or away;
Because I am in one accord,
Causing me to trust and obey.

Whether as present or absent,
I aim for bringing Him pleasure;
By not appearing in judgment,
But accepted in good measure.

Before the judgment seat of Christ,
That each one of us may receive;
For Him how much we sacrificed,
Keeping a faith what we believe.
