You have been our dwelling place,
A place for all generations;
Shining of your mercy and grace,
Making us your new creations.

Before the mountains had arose,
You have formed the Heaven and earth;
Everlasting that You had chose,
Forming it all as priceless worth.

You have returned man into dust,
Returning the children of man;
For anyone that does distrust,
That You have brought forth in your plan.

For thousands of years in Your sight,
But as yesterday when it is past;
For while You watch in the night,
Time has flown by ever so fast.

You sweep them away as a flood,
As they are merely like a dream;
In the morning flowers will bud,
As grass renews as it turns green.

It is renewed and flourishes,
Morning brings colorful cascades;
As the flowing stream nourishes,
The evening withers and fades.
