There is now no condemnation,
For those who are in Jesus Christ;
Time to be a new creation,
No more letting flesh be enticed.

The law of the Spirit of life,
Sets you free from the Law of sin;
Putting to death that causes strife,
Allows refinement to begin.

God did what the Law could not do,
By sending His Son to image;
The likeness of a fleshy view,
Purifying of the damage.

The righteousness requirement,
Of the Law fit to be fulfilled;
Allowing for the atonement,
That a penance can be instilled.

Those who are setting in their thought,
Lives as to fleshy desire;
Childish efforts they have sought,
Defiled what they admire.

For the mind on the flesh is death,
The flesh is hostile towards the Lord;
Satan has given carnal breath,
The Law of God has been ignored.

Spiritual minds have life and peace,
It is subject unto God’s Law;
While pleasing God will not cease,
Your prayers are answered when you call.
